My last day in Cworks
Today should be my last day with my current company. I actually feel kinda sad leaving this place. Guess it has already become my comfort zone. Been on and off with this company since 2005. Did my industrial training here. Got lots of great memories here. Did some work as well while i was here...Just hope none of my bosses reads my blog....Hehehe
Gonna miss lots of things here but most of all would be the ppl. It was great while it lasted. Will be joining a new company next week and i will post my new found experiences here when i join them...

The bleeding mofo Inti International University
When i signed up to attend the graduation i was told i could get extra invitation tickets by just emailing some bitch named Chong Lee Lee, but i have to do it as the graduation dates is closer...
So i email her asking how do i go about it about a month b4 graduation. And i dont get any kind of reply. I sent her a second email and still no reply. So today i decide to call her and see what happens and she seems to know who i am but say she will not reply to ppl who dont provide any details. She knows which programme i am in and what day i am graduating all widout me mentioning a thing and she says she doesnt have my details so she cant reserve any tickets for me....
I hope she rots in hell for that....

The Con that Neva Was
Heard of Lampe Berger? Or is Lamp Burger, or Limburger? I dunno but its those lamps that can pretty much kill viruses even.....Heck if they can kill the common cold virus these buggers would be richer than any of us can ever imagine..... But they say they got rid of the SARS virus in Singapore......But you know me i wont say a thing if i think ur an idiot.....I will just laugh like hell when u guys leave me alone and write it on my blog....
So ok. Lemme start from the beginning. 1st this hot looking chick calls me out. Says she is running a spa and she wants me to come and check it out. Tells me its a great business oppurtunity and all. Naturally i think its gonna be my lucky day....Heck what sane guy wont think like dat?
So i go down there and meet her and she shows me the place. She warned me it was pretty exclusive joint but heck i was so wowed at the set up i was impressed. But also alarm bells started going off. I know she definately aint rich enough to be able to afford something like this. So my 1st guess was that she was one of the Fake PRCs stocks they have there and i was supposed to be her knight in shining armor. After showing me the lamps ( and they are nice looking antique lamps that fetch up to RM80k) she shows me the entrance of the spa. And i figure this is where its gonna get interesting.
Then she says we are not allowed in the spa but there are more floors blah blah blah....Ok so i just waited to see wht will happen next.....She takes me around to some place with a lot of tables and chairs and i think something feels really wrong here.....
She takes me upstairs and starts talking about marguis and dukes and i realize i have gotten into some bad shit.....Then we go to another floor and i see lots more tables and chairs.....So i popped the big question...."What da fuck do you guys do?".....I mean i dont see any customers anywhere except ppl who look like her, well dressed and giving long lectures to ppl who looked like they hit the jackpot...
She neva gives a straight anwser and thats when i realize that i may have heard this limburger shit before.... I remember its some kind of MLM scam.... I looked at my watch and decided what the hell, lets hear their whole scam and why not i post it on my forum?
So ok she introduces me to her leader who is challenging to be a monkey or something of that sort...1st they make some great small talk....asking me what i do and where i studied and all that stuff. Then they ask me if i am interested in knowing more. Since i have some experience with stuff like this i managed to fake my way into them believing that i was very interested.....
So she says she has a great marketing plan that can be explain in just 2 sheets of papers....Oh boy its that simple eh? Oh ya i almost forgot there was also this other guy who seems to think that he is a genious businessman....Too bad he is from a type of ppl where there is no such thing as a genious(I am not being stereotyped here, I am just stating a well known fact, I know there are many smart and clever ppl, but i dont know any geniouses yet, nor do i know of any one of them who could pull of a business deal where they arent in the losing end)...So i listen to this buggers story of how he wanted to open either a cyber cafe or a factory and he doesnt have the capital and the returns on such a business is not guaranteed and all that shit......And then he tells me how he found this business plan after being intro by some fren who sounds like he was a big jackass like this guy is and figured this plan was so amazingly "genious" that he would be stupid to miss out on it.....It was hard for me not to laugh at that moment but i knew i had to control myself....
So the leader chick starts explaining all the products they have. They start by telling you how the food and water market has been conquered by many other businesses. And they also compare themselves to McDonalds and Starbuck and i cant help thinking how daft these ppl must be to think they are the same since those companies actually sells stuff while these buggers main income is not from their products. Then they introduce me to an unventured market...air market....They say everybody needs air and some shit about nobody having ventured into it before..... I guess they have neva lit up scented candles when they got laid b4....Or seen any of that potpurri stuff....But hey, you got to be really daft to join something like this anyway right?
Then after explaining how they got dips on the air market, which she keeps calling "A-ir" as in water in Malay, she explain to me of the spa and the cosmetic products that go along with it. And so i think what the fuck lar, they spend 3 million on renovating a spa and i dont see them having any bloody customers at all... Then they inform me they are launching some new product soon at i think it was Shang Ri-La....Mentioned something about it being a great products....Then they told me all the branches they have and that they are the only ppl licensed to sell this shit....And i noticed something very obvious.....Their products are all so called French products but they dont even have a branch in France....So i naturally asked about this and they couldnt anwser me and tried to avoid it after that....By then i figured these products prob are produced in China or Taiwan and these ppl prob just own the brand which they just stick onto the products....
So next i ask what is the damage for me to join something like this? And so they begin to explain their francising plans and how much i will get out of joining them. They start from the lowest end saying that minimum investment is about RM2k and they even go all out and quote some Malaysian Act that says they have to give a 10% discount on the joining fees and all....Guess i found the convincer...Most ppl would probably think since there is some legal law shit involved this thing is prob the real deal. Then she goes to explain how as we go up the level we get more points and how these points translates into more money for us.
After some really crazy calculation which anybody who has an accounting background can tell u is way overstated they show me how i would stand to make a whopping 200k in just a couple of year and how i would be able to afford a sports car of my choice....They seem to thinks its all going great and they have found someone they can squeze money out of....So i make them sweat a little bit saying its late and i need to go home already....They get worried a little and so they upped the ante a little....They told me of a shortcut to getting to the 200k....and all it takes was an investment of 32k.....BTW, all these idiots are mostly students and dont have jobs of any kind so how they raise the money i have no clue....Then the leader gal starts telling me some sob story about how her dad earns a living selling coconuts for 30 cents and how she used to feel bad about getting pocket money from her dad and not really paying much attention to classes when she was in the uni, and after joining this she can start giving money to her parents and she says it feels so good. BTW they think i am from the estate and my parents are prob rubber tappers or something so i didnt spoil it for them.
I couldnt help wondering how they got the cash since both the leader and my hot fren told me they both invested 30k for the "faster way". So i told them i was interested but i dont have the capital. Now this is a guy who doesnt have a proper job and only source of income is this. Granted he could have bought it cash but if he was actually paying of a loan then he must be having some rich guy supporting him. I would be guessing his parents are rich enough to be able to afford to buy the car or the company itself has somekind of perk when u reach that level. But i do not pursue this line since i didnt think it was worth my effort anymore....I got everything i needed already....
Basically from what i can figure out is that they go for the younger ppl as they are more innocent. Not to mentioned that we all were brought up in with the culture that money is absolutely everything. And giving us all a shortcut to achieve the richest we can only dream about would be like leaving a kid in Willy Wonka's factory unattended. So they sell us a dream that seems to be too good to be true....Sadly to say, if it sounds too good to be true, it prob isnt true....They say the only thing u need to achieve that dream is 2k and a lot of hard work.... And when u realize ur hard work is getting nowhere, you have to invest 30k n still put in hard work...But after u put in all that hard work and u managed to achieve some kind of form of the dream u had, what happens then? Does the dream last? Or do we just wake up and realize it was short lived? I will definately admit there will neva be short of ppl who are stupid enough to go for this con but in 30 years do you really think you will still be living ur dream? Esp if u seemed to have spent it all on sports cars and other micheleanous expenses. Heck there are ppl there who having been working for 8 years and havent been able to save a cent... That says a lot about their spendin habits
Sure we all want 5 figure jobs and we all want it now....But everything comes only if we are willing to put in the effort and take whatever comes like a man....Patience is truly the greatest virtue....Those who think there are shortcuts will only end up disappointed in the end
